Haute Couture Week in Paris is one of those Monogram Dentelle Bagsdreamy fashion weeks where anything you can even picture in your wildest dreams (and things you never even thought you could) will be turned into a reality on the catwalks. Anyone who thought it would be a toned-down affair thanks to the *gulp* recession, is being forced to do some rethinking, with designers not doing any scaling back... in fact, you could say some were going all out!  refined white frocks and suits. But there was still room for a spot of OTT - and that came in the form of the elaborate origami-like headdresses which certainly caught our attention.

 entirely appropriate considering Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld's inspiration for this collection came from the "blank page". (Paper... origami... geddit?)
